Another day another bagel, this time Apollo bagels - you have to go where is viral right?? Absolute perfection and set us up for walking the Highline, Hudson Yards, and the Modern Art Museum which blew my mind - the best collection of modern art I’ve ever seen. 🍎 you’ve been a blast but I really must get back because Rome is calling me to VIAN (Vorwerk International Awards Night). And THEN I’m going to get cooking again. For those of you still with me, thanks for reading this far! 😆Button

Days 2&3 NYC foodie trail… starting off with the famous Nova bagel @libertybagelsny - I didn’t go for a rainbow one, just classic smoked salmon & scallion cream cheese - it was lush and big enough for breakfast AND lunch, which is perfect when you’re sightseeing. Then Macy’s, New York Public Library, then a sit and “the best matcha ever” according to my daughter in beautiful Bryant park. Grand Central station is the loveliest station I’ve ever seen, and we were afforded multiple views of the Empire State and the stunning Chrysler Building both from the ground and from the Summit One, with Papamix not loving the glass-bottomed observatory at times! From now on, I’m only drinking Margaritas with an incredible view 😆 Our fanciest meal was @burgerandlobster with the kids trying oysters for the first time… the lobster burger was incredible and set us up for seeing @hamiltonmusical on Broadway (for the girls) and the Knicks game (for the boys). Central Park was stunning and the American Museum of Natural History and it really did feel like we were in Night at the Museum 😆 We found a fabulous Korean and enjoyed Tteokbokki and Bibimbap and then caught the subway home for a collapse into bed 😴Button

Day 1 in NYC… and so the foodie tour begins with a trip to @ellensstardust diner for some entertaining breakfast, then Staten Island ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, Katz’s Deli for one of their famous Pastrami on Rye (and a cheeky Reuben) - they were massive and two were enough to share. It set us up for our 9/11 tour and memorial which was an experience I shall never forget, deeply moving and emotional but also informative. The Oculus building at the World Trade Centre is designed to resemble a dove flying from a child’s hands, a symbol of peace and rebirth after the tragedy. At 10:28am every September 11th, the sun shines through the spine of skylights flooding the incredible building with light. We ended the day with a John’s pizza in Times Square which was actually fabulous 🇺🇸Button

Strong start on the NYC foodie trail with these amazing tacos. Very close to where we are staying in Hell’s Kitchen. This trip is a dream come true and an adventure awaits around every corner 🗽Button

Getting in the mood for our big trip… can’t wait for a slice of New York pizza, but will it really be better than the ones we make at home?? This is always our go-to when the kids have friends over (which is often) ❤️Button
"I decided to take the plunge and purchase a thermomix in spring 2021 and can honestly say it’s has been the purchase/investment I have ever made. It has transformed our diet, saved us SO much money on the weekly shop and broadened my culinary skills and knowledge no end. Samantha is an inspiration and her ongoing support is invaluable! If my house was on fire and I could only save one thing……it would be my Thermomix "
